Our newest campground experience is our private shacks for two.
Each of our rustic shacks have A/C, electric, lights, outlets, and a full size bed. Does not include bedding or pillows. These are perfect for those who want the camping experience, but prefer a few comforts from home. Shanty Shacks also have BBQ grills and picnic tables and are located at the Shanty 2 location.
Don’t forget to book in advanced to assure that you are able to take advantage of our Shanty Shacks.

Shanty Shack Pricing
Shacks with access to Facilities located at Shanty 2:
- Shanty Shacks are for 2 people, (1 full size bed)
- $100.00 per night from Memorial day weekend to labor day weekend. ($85 per night during during off season).
- Check in time is 2 p.m.
- Check out time Noon
- Weekends and Holidays may require a two-night minimum stay
Camping near the Guadalupe River
The Shanty River Center has provided camping near the Guadalupe River for over 15 years.
Camping in the Hill Country and tubing on the Guadalupe River. What more could you ask for?
Shanty 2 is the location of our campgrounds and is located near the beginning of the Horseshoe bridge. This location has tube, raft, and kayak rentals, public restrooms, showers, and plenty of parking.
Our main location Shanty Tubes also has a Tiki Bar, as well as the Shanty Salsa Kitchen to add to your camping experience. So after a fabulous day of tubing, come to the Shanty Tiki Bar for some good times, music and some good food.
Camping Grounds Pricing
Prices include camping on the Guadalupe River with access to facilities at either location.
- Campsites are for up to 6 people per site.
- $45.00 for up to 4 people, and $10 per person extra (for a total of 6 per site)
- Check in time: 3pm
- Check out time: 11AM
- Campsites are not riverfront
- No electrical or water hookups at campsites.
